Marilyn Davis earned a Ph.D. in Radio Astronomy from UCSD and Master's degrees in Applied Physics from UCSD and Mathematics from Denver University. Computer programming captured her interest and she has made significant contributions in scientific, statistical, operations research, test-development and groupware applications. She taught C Programming at UCSC-Extension for 17 years, and has been teaching Python for 6 years.
