SriSatish Ambati is Chief Tinkerer of Java, BigData & enterprise stacks. Sri is founder of a stealth mode startup that makes distributed systems of high scale. Before that he was Director Of Engineering for the Cassandra & Hadoop Company, DataStax & before that for 7 years at the JVM company, Azul Systems. Over the course of a decade or so, he has actively supported, profiled and scaled hundreds of in-production and in-development java, hadoop & data stacks for performance. He uses these experiences to distil system trends and turbulences. Sri is valued for his knack to simplify & expose the gist of complex intertwined concepts, without compromising on content.

Sri's talks are popular on the conference circuit including JavaOne, JBossWorld, ApacheCon, HadoopSummit, SFJava and SVJUG. Sri has trained users of several enterprises like the Chicago Mercantile, Netflix, NextTag, D&B, Salesforce, OpenText amongst others.
