Xavier Shay, Platform Engineer at Square Inc, is going to give you a brief history of JRuby at Square.
Xavier will talk about how the Square team wrestled with Kirk, Mizuno, Jetty, Neo4j, threads, startup times, and cross-ruby compatibility, before emerging with a "setup fit for the gods". Main topics include developing, deployment and problems.
