RHO Mobile Suite Developer Fundamentals Training Course
The RhoMobile Suite Developer Fundamentals course is designed to take an experienced programmer and teach the basics of building mobile applications with the RhoMobile Suite. The course is designed to give students a solid technical foundation covering all the aspects of application development as well as data synchronization. The RhoMobile Suite offers a wealth of documentation online including sample code and tutorials. Students taking this course will be ready to continue their learning online using these resources. Since the Rho applications use web technologies, students will learn the basics of the these technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ruby. No prior web experience is necessary. These basics will help the students utilize RhoStudio, the development tool, to implement the model-view-controller architecture to build fully featured applications. The course also will teach students how to build source adapters for RhoConnect for moving data between the mobile app and the backend data sources. All topics in this course are covered with extensive use of exercises - 50% or more of the course time will be spent doing these programming exercises.
